With multiple security systems already installed and monitored for public schools, state and local government agencies across Massachusetts, American Alarm has won a new three-year designation as an approved provider of video surveillance, access control, intrusion protection, alarm monitoring and related security systems by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Covered under the state’s purchasing contract known as “FAC64 Security Surveillance and Access Control Systems” the state’s designation of American Alarm establishes preferred pricing for any eligible public entity in Massachusetts, such as municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, colleges, universities and certain non-profit organizations that want to purchase security services.

“To qualify as an approved state contractor is a rigorous process designed to make sure that public entities have access to state-of-the-art security systems at reasonable costs,” said Wells Sampson, president of American Alarm. “We are very pleased to receive this new award from the Commonwealth, so we can continue to partner with public agencies in the state to meet their security system needs.”

Under the previous state security contract, American Alarm designed, installed and continues to service a range of integrated security systems for public entities including:  Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles (all branches), Massachusetts Medical Examiner’s Office in Boston, the State Firefighting Academy in Stow, the Hampden County Sheriff’s Outreach Center in Springfield, Western Massachusetts Hospital in Westfield, public schools in Lexington, Arlington and Lynnfield among others.
