Toilet Overflows in Brookline

A smoke alarm was received from the basement of an attached townhome in Brookline. Our Command Center operator got no answer when calling the residence so firefighters were dispatched. Following up with the first responders and the homeowner, it was determined that water cascading down from an overflowing toilet had tripped the smoke alarm. Repairs were initiated.
