Pregnant Woman Trapped in Brookline Elevator

A call came in from an elevator emergency phone at a condominium building in Brookline. The woman stated she was stuck on the fourth floor and the doors would not open. Building management was advised and Brookline firefighters dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival firefighters decided to force open the elevator car, and not wait for the elevator maintenance company to arrive, because the woman trapped inside was pregnant. No injuries reported.
