Water Heater Bursts in Winthrop

A basement water sensor alarm was received from a home in Winthrop. Our Central Station operator reached the homeowner by phone to report the alarm. The homeowner indicated she had just left the house, but would return to investigate. Upon arriving back home, she went to the basement and found the water heater had failed. Water was shut off and repairs initiated.
