TV Mount Causes Alarm

A fire alarm was received from an apartment building in the South Boston section of the city. Firefighters were alerted and building management notified. Upon further investigation, the building owner reported that one of the tenants had drilled several holes in a wall to mount a flat-screen television. In doing so, the tenant had damaged a water pipe which then leaked onto a fire alarm sensor, causing the alarm. Repairs were initiated.
