Trapped in Melrose Elevator

An emergency phone call from an elevator in a high-rise apartment building was received. Our Central Station operator spoke with an individual who said the elevator had stopped and the doors would not open. Building management and firefighters were alerted and responded to the scene. The person was freed without injury and elevator repairs initiated.
