Trapped in Cambridge Elevator

A call from an elevator emergency phone in a life sciences building in Cambridge was received. The caller told our Central Station operator that he and three other people were trapped in the elevator, which appeared to be stuck between the third and fourth floors. Our operator contacted on-site security personnel and the elevator maintenance company. Both responded to the scene. The elevator was activated and the people freed without injury.
