Smoky Elevator in Concord

Our Central Station received a fire alarm from a medical facility in Concord. Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, they found that a seized brake pad in one of the facility’s elevators was causing smoke to billow into the elevator shaft and nearby areas. The elevator was shut down. No injuries reported.
