Smoky Basement in NH

A fire alarm from the basement of a home was received just after midnight. Our Central Station operator called the residence and spoke to an occupant who indicated there didn’t seem to be any problem in the house. One of the residents then went to the basement to check the area of the alarm and discovered smoke. Firefighters responded to the scene.
