Smoke in Malden Basement

A fire alarm from the basement of a home in Malden was received. The homeowner and firefighters were informed and responded. Upon follow up, it was reported to our Command Center operator that the home’s boiler had misfired and filled the area with smoke and carbon monoxide. Repairs were initiated. No injuries or further damage reported.
