Seven People Trapped in East Boston Elevator

Just after midnight our Central Station received an emergency call from an elevator in an apartment building in East Boston.  Our operator was told seven people were trapped in the elevator. Building management was alerted and responded to the scene. Our operator remained in contact with the location, and after the onsite responder could not get the elevator working, our operator dispatched Boston firefighters. All people were eventually freed.
