Meat Thief Flees in Providence

A burglar alarm from the basement door at a food-pantry and social service center in Providence was received. Our Central Station operator called the facility and spoke with an employee who indicated a man had broken into the basement and was attempting to steel meat from the refrigerators there. The suspect fled when the alarm sounded. Police were dispatched to investigate.
