Kitchen Fire in Lynn

A fire alarm was received from an apartment building in Lynn, MA, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Upon follow-up, our Central Station operator was told a small fire had started on the stove top in one of the units. The occupant tried to put out the fire, but it ignited their clothes. The fire was eventually extinguished without spreading beyond the kitchen and one resident was transported to a local hospital.
