House Fire in Lexington

A fire alarm was received from a home in Lexington. Our Central Station operator called the residence and spoke with the homeowner, who said he was looking around for any source of smoke. While on the phone, he heard his wife yelling from the third floor of the dwelling that there was a fire. Our operator dispatched Lexington first-responders immediately. Upon arrival, firefighters knocked down the fire, containing it to a small area on the third level.
