Fireplace Problem in Concord

An alarm from a smoke detector in the utility room of a home in Concord was received. Our Central Station operator called the residence, and when no one answered, firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters reported a malfunction with a gas fireplace on site. The gas company was called in for repairs. No other damage reported.
