Burst Pipe in Windham, NH

A fire alarm from a home in Windham was received.  Our Central Station operator called the residence and got no answer, so firefighters were dispatched. Upon arrival, firefighters forced entry to the building and discovered a frozen pipe had burst. The water had tripped the fire alarm. Firefighters turned off the water, thereby limiting further damage. The homeowner called Central Station the next day to thank the operator for sending help, because it saved significant damage to the home.
