Attempted Robbery in Cranston

A panic alarm from a jewelry story in Cranston was received and our Central Station operator immediately dispatched police.  Upon arrival, police confirmed one suspect had entered the store, brandished a hand gun and demanded jewelry. The store clerk refused, retreated and sounded the alarm. The suspect fled on foot. Police have released a photo of the suspect and are asking the public for help identifying him.
