Fire in Lincoln Home

A fire alarm was received from a home in Lincoln. When our Command Center operator could not reach the homeowner by phone, firefighters were dispatched. Upon arrival, they reported that a power surge from the electrical line feeding the home had caused a surge protector inside to catch fire. The small fire was extinguished before causing widespread damage to the home.
