Carbon Monoxide in Winchester

An early morning carbon monoxide alarm from the furnace room of a home in Winchester was received and our Command Center operator immediately dispatched first responders to the scene. The home was then called and the residents alerted of the situation. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed high levels of the potentially deadly gas in the furnace room. The furnace was shut down and repairs initiated. No injuries reported.
