Burglar Foiled in Cambridge

A door alarm from a home in the Brattle section of Cambridge was received early in the morning. Our Command Center operator reached the homeowner who asked for police to respond. Upon arrival, police reported a rear door to the building was ajar, but the suspect had apparently fled. A bicycle that had been in the home was found on a nearby street.  It appeared the alarm scared the would-be burglar away.
