November 11, 2007 - Worcester, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from a Worcester
youth organization. The Police Department was dispatched and reported
that they found a broken window upon arrival. The manager found
nothing was taken and the window was replaced.
November 4, 2007 - Grafton, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from the front
door of a Grafton business. The Police Department was dispatched
and upon follow-up the Police confirmed that someone tried to
break in, however, no damage was reported and nothing was missing
from the business.
October 1, 2007 - Cambridge, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from the rear door
of one of our restaurant customers in Cambridge. The Police Department
was dispatched immediately and arrived to the site to find a broken
window. Police reported nothing missing from the restaurant.
September 19, 2007 - Grafton, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from a retail customer
Grafton. The Police Department was dispatched and reported that
this was an attempted break-in. Messages were left for the owner
for notification.
August 21, 2007 - Boston, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from one of our
retail customers in Boston. The Police Department was dispatched
and reported that there was an attempted break-in. The window
was broken but due to the burglar alarm sounding nothing was taken.
August 17, 2007 - Boston, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from one of our
financial customers in Boston. The Police Department was immediately
dispatched. A manager informed American Alarmthat they were robbed,
but the robber was apprehended and arrested by police. American
Alarm helped the financial client convert their camera footage
into video.
August 13, 2007 - South Windham, CT
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from one of our
multi-location commercial customers in South Windham, CT. The
Police Department was dispatched immediately. The Police reported
a real break-in and that they have someone in custody.
August 12, 2007 - Southbridge, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm from a small retail customer
in Southbridge. The Police Department was dispatched and upon
follow up the Police confirmed that there was an attempted break-in.
The police found nothing stolen and no damage done to the property.
August 4, 2007 - Wenhem, MA
American Alarm received a call from one of our residential Wenham
customers. She was having a problem with multiple burglar alarm
signals over a short period of time. An American Alarm technician
immediately arrived to the home and discovered that someone did
try to break in at one of the doors. The burglar alarm system
went off ,which caused the burglar to flee.
July 31, 2007 - Winchester, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from a Winchester
home and dispatched the Police Department. Upon follow up the
Police Department and owner reported that it was an actual break,
however, nothing was stolen from the house.
July 25, 2007 - Commercial Building, Boston, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from one of our
commercial customers in Boston. The Police were dispatched immediately.
and reported that they discovered a broken window. Upon further
investigation, the police found no one on site and nothing stolen.
July 8, 2007 - South Boston, MA
American Alarm received a commercial burglar alarm signal from
a restaurant in South Boston. The Police Department was dispatched
and reported that there was a break-in. The robbers attempted
to take the ATM located in the lobby. The attempt was unsuccessful
as the burglar alarm system scared the robbers off.
June 24, 2007 - Worcester, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from a retail customer
in Worcester. The Police Department was dispatched and reported
that a window was smashed and the store had some items stolen.
American Alarm dispatched a technician to make sure the alarm
system was still operational. The customer had us re-contact the
new window. They are very satisfied with their burglar alarm system
and American Alarm's response time.
June 22, 2007 - Commercial Building, Plaistow, NH
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from the side entrance of one of our service
chain customers in Plaistow, NH. The Police Department was dispatched and
reported that there was an open door. They did an interior search and didn't find
anyone inside or anything missing.
June 20, 2007 - Worcester, MA
American Alarm received a basement door and window burglar alarm
at a home of one of our Worcester customers. The premises was
called and the owner asked that we notify the police. The Police
Department was dispatched and reported that there was an actual
break but no arrests were made. The only damage done was to the
basement window and nothing was stolen. This customer was very
satisfied with our burglar alarm and has since recommended us
to his neighbors.
June 15, 2007 - Worcester, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm from one of our Worcester
business customers. The Police Department was dispatched and reported
that a window had been broken but nothing was taken. The owner
of the commercial building approached American Alarm after a previous
attempted break in this past spring. The owner was happy with
the performance of our burglar alarm system and American Alarm's
response time.
June 14, 2007 - New Bedford, MA
American Alarm received a commercial burglar alarm from one of our New Bedford Church customers. The Police Department was dispatched and reported that a window had been broken. The owner was very happy with American Alarm's response time.
June 6, 2007 - Wakefield, MA
American Alarm received a second floor motion signal from the
burglar alarm system in a school building in Wakefield, MA. The
Police Department was dispatched and met up with a notified responder
to do a walk through at the scene. The building was re-secured
and nothing was reported stolen.
June 3, 2007 - Arlington, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from the basement of a residential building in Arlington, MA. The Police were dispatched and reported they interrupted a break in progress, but were unable to apprehend the burglar(s). The customer was pleased with the response time and was relieved to find nothing was stolen.
May 27, 2007 - Concord, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from a school in
Concord. The Police Department was dispatched and after an extended
foot chase the officers apprehended 3 suspects. The school was
unable to be reached for comment.
May 25, 2007 - Lowell, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal at from a Lowell
cafe on May 25th. The Police Department was dispatched and upon
follow-up we were informed that there was a broken window and
a small amount of cash was missing. No employees were on site
during the incident. The customer found the burglar alarm system
had prevented serious losses and was satisfied with American Alarm's
response team.
May 15, 2007 - Roxbury, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from one of our
customer’s commercial building and notified the Police Department
on May 15th. The Police determined the burglar alarm signal was
set off by a break in. The responder that was notified had confirmed
the burglars broke through the wall. The business suffered minimal
losses because of the burglar alarm system and American Alarm’s
quick response to the Police
May 2, 2007 - Cambridge, MA
American Alarm received a burglar alarm signal from a window sensor
at one of our multi-tenant customers in Cambridge on Wednesday,
May 2, 2007. We contacted the property’s Security Desk in
seconds of the burglar alarm’s signal. Security was quickly
dispatched to the location to find a smashed window. One laptop
was stolen but due to the quick response, security responded in
a timely manner and prevented any additional thefts.
April 6, 2007 - Cambridge, MA
A Credit Union in Cambridge triggered a panic signal. Our monitoring
staff dispatched the police immediately who apprehended the robber
on the street. The police arrested the suspect and quickly returned
the money. The Credit union’s manager indicated that he
was thrilled with American Alarm’s response. Further, he
indicated that he dropped the last alarm company because their
protocol was to contact the Credit union prior to the police.
Had this been the case, the burglar may have escaped and the money
lost.
