Do you know your password?

The alarm is blaring. Someone forgot their code, or walked into the house unaware the system was armed. Now the phone rings. It’s American Alarm’s Security Command Center calling to evaluate the situation. You answer the phone and we ask for your special password to verify that all is well. Many times, in the stress of that moment, our customers forget their password and we then must call police to the scene to be safe. To help prevent those false alarms, please take time to review your password periodically. If you’re not sure what your password is, or want to change it, please call Customer Care at 781-641-2000. For security reasons, we will not give out your password by phone, but one of our staff will happily guide you through the process involved in updating or reviewing your password.
