Parents of an exploring toddler had a major concern because their child recently learned how to open doors. As much as they kept an eye on their child they knew that it they couldn't keep up with the toddler 100% of the time. To help prevent possible injury, the parents required a home security feature that would notify them in the event that their child opened a door or window. American Alarm staff notified the parents of a chime feature available in their home security system. Per the specified programming, each time a window or exterior door is opened the chime will sound. This feature allows the alarm system to alert the parents of a wandering child or an unwanted intruder even when the home security system is unarmed.
